The MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) indicator looks at the momentum in the market and considers the direction of momentum in the market. This indicator is really useful in understanding which way price is moving allows us to add extra confirmation to our trade ideas. The MACD technical indicator looks at the difference between a short term moving average and a long term moving average.
